Brellum was founded by Sébastien Muller, a fourth-generation watchmaker, whose Swiss horological heritage dates back to 1885. Muller launched Brellum to craft watches independently, combining traditional Swiss methods with modern design. Brellum watches are produced in small quantities, and that shows in the details.
First Impressions
This isn't my first Brellum. I already own the Pandial Bicompax Black, and since I picked that up, I've kept a close eye on Sébastien Muller's boutique brand. Brellum isn't a household name yet, but it's gaining attention in the watch community thanks to Muller's approach to building watches. Each Brellum watch is chronometer-certified.
When the new Pandial Marina Tricompax Chronometer Limited Edition was announced (just 23 pieces worldwide), I immediately knew I wanted one. After some consideration between titanium and steel, I settled on steel for that classic, reassuring weight on the wrist. The watch arrived well-packaged with useful extras: a personalized card from Sébastien Muller himself, all the tools required for strap changes, extra spring bars, and the specialized tool needed to adjust the bracelet.

Case & Wearability
The Marina Tricompax measures 43mm in diameter, which works well for my wrist. Its stainless steel case feels solid without being heavy. The brushed and polished surfaces are well done.
I also ordered the matching steel bracelet, but the watch arrived on a blue and orange strap, which I ended up liking. It's comfortable and gives the watch a sporty look that fits its nautical theme. Brellum includes a leather travel case, which is a nice addition.
Dial & Aesthetics
The dial is the highlight. Brellum captured a maritime feel with deep blues and orange accents on the chronograph hands. It gets noticed but remains easy to read. The tricompax layout is clean and well-balanced.
The applied hour markers and hands are generously filled with Super-LumiNova, making it readable in the dark. The sapphire crystal has anti-reflective coating.

Movement & Performance
Inside is the COSC-certified automatic Brellum BR-750-2 movement, based on the Valjoux 7750. Brellum's finishing touches are visible through the sapphire caseback. It's satisfying to know the watch you're wearing meets chronometer standards.
The chronograph pushers offer firm, tactile feedback, and resetting is crisp. The 46-hour power reserve means I can comfortably rotate this watch in my collection without frequent winding.
Strap & Bracelet
As mentioned, the watch arrived on a blue and orange strap, but I also ordered the optional steel bracelet. Brellum includes all the necessary tools for adjustments. Having options for both bracelet and strap adds versatility.
The bracelet is solidly built with brushed and polished finishes that match the watch head. Adjusting it was straightforward with the included tools. Despite how good the bracelet looks, I find myself reaching for the strap most days.
Final Thoughts
The Brellum Pandial Marina Tricompax Chronometer Limited Edition offers good Swiss build quality with a sporty look. It punches above its price. With only 23 pieces available worldwide, it's hard to find.
As my second Brellum, it confirms my interest in the brand and Muller's approach to watchmaking. The personal touches, like the handwritten card and included tools, make owning one feel different from buying from a larger brand.
